Rent distress can occur when a tenant fails to pay their rent, or fails to pay it in a timely manner. ABS Bailiffs can, on behalf of a landlord, at their request, proceed with a rent distress against the tenant. We can assist the landlord in recovery of their monies owed.
Once ABS Bailiffs attend at the tenant's location, the rent distress can take one of several avenues varying from immediate payment of the monies owed, to immediate removal, storage and sale of the tenant's assets to recover outstanding rent.

Services - Repairs Lien
Repairs Liens offer security to the mechanic in the recovery of monies owed for work completed. If the amount owed remains unpaid, the creditor may have rights of seizure and sale.
ABS Bailiffs can assist you in recovering funds owed through:
• Filing/Discharge of Liens
• Performing all required searches and
• Seizure, secure storage, collection of the debt, and, if necessary sale of the vehicle/craft.
Services - P.P.S.A
• We will seize any and all goods held as security through liens and encumbrances
• Will assist in securing the creditor's rights to realize security through seizure of any and all exigible assets as defined under the Personal Property Security Act.
